Modernization in the Medical Sciences Education

The degree of medicines is one of the oldest educations of the world. As diseases are going parallel with the human life so people find ways to get rid of them. Historically there were no institutes for medicines and people use to take education from self-research system. But in late 17^th century the trend of medical colleges rose and proper institutes formed in many countries like USA and UK. These two countries are the pioneer of innovations in the medicine education.  The courtesy title “Doctor” is awarded to those who complete their medicine education form particular medical college. 

The degree is called as MBBS and the duration of this degree varies in different countries. Like in America it is six to seven years.  But in all over the world last two years are professional year which practically teaches student about the human body issues. Indeed this education specifically requires advancement because there are rigorous changes in the life style. For instance in past there were no vehicles which means no road accidents. But now world has changed you have to bring some new ideas of medication.

MBBS admissions are not very easy it requires so many hardships.  You need to fulfill the criteria then you would be able to get the admission. The admissions requirements are different in every country like in USA you have to study one year a general study course then you can get admission. Whereas in UK, UAE, France and etc. right after intermediate you can enter into the medical colleges. Nowadays many private colleges also offer MBBS admissions but they also set some merit. Either you take admission in public sector universities or private it is obligatory on every student to appear for medical test. The fee of private colleges is very high as compared to government institutes but they provide scholarships as well.  The name of MBBS degree states that there are two separate degrees that is bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. But normally they are treated as one single degree which is awarded right after completion.

Currently UAE medical colleges are gaining popularity like USA colleges because these colleges are fully technological and advanced. Medical college in UAE has some admission criteria so that competent people must be selected. This admission strategy helps in giving best doctors to the humanity. Medical college in UAE has some separate sections for ladies means those who discourage co-education can study in those sections. Mostly ladies professors teach in women colleges like this religious values of some people are preserved. College like Dubai Medical College for Girls is particularly made for girls.

The MBBS degree is not enough for becoming doctor after this degree you have to do house job in any hospital after that if you want to become general physician then you don’t have to study further. But if you want to become specialist then it’s compulsory to take education in the discipline in which you want to specialize. Before applying for admission in private colleges first make sure that college where you are applying is registered with the government otherwise your degree would not be authentic. You can check the name of private colleges on the medical association website of any country. Currently most of the practical work like chemotherapy is done through computers, special instructions are feed in the computer after that just samples are provided and you will get the result. The profession of medicine is specifically related to humanity and doctors must understand that. These days due to economic distress the cost of health care is very high and it really hard for poor’s to afford. Therefore along with government doctors must provide services in reasonable fee.
