Taking Care Is The True Virtue In Today’s World

It is something in my blood that compels me to take care of everyone who needs my help. I always wanted to join such a field where I could do what I always have done with great love and care. I wanted to look after people whenever they needed my help.

My friends and class fellows used to tease me by saying that I acted like Mother Teresa. I knew it that they were not capable of doing the good things that God has assigned me to do. Just imagine for a minute that if someone asks you to help him to cross the road or pick up the walking stick that has fallen down, what is wrong in doing so? Is it important to always gain something in return when you do good deed for the sake of humanity? For me, it is not.

Life is a cruel phenomenon. You cannot always keep on helping others till you get something in return to your favor. I wanted to do a job where I could satisfy my inner self that at least I am earning for what I love to do always. I have recently done my Maters in Nursing from a well reputed university. I can never forget how it felt like to understand the pain of other. You need to kill your priorities to cater patients, who are in great need.

I have always been a hard working student. My teachers used to think that I would become a great doctor or specialist. But my plan was way different than their expectations. A doctor spends his or her time with the patients by just going through the details about their diseases. But a nurse is the one who stays and take care even if the doctor is not available.

The nurse is responsible for listening to the patients what they want to share. She stays with the patients when they need and help them out when the patients need her. As I was a brilliant student, I was awarded a Nursing scholarship for the exceptional result of Bachelors in Nursing.

Getting admission in masters in Nursing was just like a dream come true for me. My friends hated me for not giving them time but they knew where I used to stay happy. That’s why they always supported me for what I was doing. I was happy to see that the love for serving humanity was not in my heart only. There were so many other male and female students who shared the same thought that I did. I sometime, felt so emotional to see nurses working better than me to make the patients feel comfortable.

God knows how to gift an ability to serve the mankind in the best ways available in this world.
